A couple of weeks ago we joined this sweet family as they celebrated their dad’s birthday at a cabin in the mountains for the weekend. These guys love each other so much, and there were a few times I was getting misty-eyed behind my camera just watching them interact with each other. For most of the session, Matt and I stood back and photographed quietly while they played games, cooked dinner, and hung out together, and then right after sunset we took a few family photos at twilight on the deck.

Jen (on the left in the black and white photo below) was the one who had hired us for the session, and I later learned that she is an extremely talented musician. I definitely recommend checking out her website at www.jenwoodhouse.com I’m completely in love with the sound of her voice and her original music is just outstanding. Check her out!!

Oleg surprised his wife Merideth with a photo session for Valentine’s Day. We met up in the Spring and started out with a few photos with their adorable kids.

Then we had some fun with just the two of them. They did a fabulous job and we had a great time working with them.
