Amanda and Chris are awesome people, as are their sweet families.

The next morning, before we headed back to Knoxville, we met up with them again for a few more photos.

We only spent a total of about 36 hours in Hatteras, but it’s definitely on our radar for future vacation spots. Amanda and Chris couldn’t have picked a more relaxing place to get married! A couple of weeks later, they had a hometown reception at Twin Cedar Farms, so I’ll be sure to share some photos from the party a little later.

It was a hot and very bright day, so we trekked around behind the house and found a pocket of shade to grab a few shots right after the ceremony.

A theme of this wedding was “keepin’ it in the family” so for dessert they served a wedding cake prepared by a dear friend, followed by a special family brand ice cream shipped especially to NC from Utica, Ohio

One last kiss-ambush before calling it a day!
