Suzanne and Joel | Knoxville Engagement Photography | Downtown

Suzanne & Joel were so fun to work with! Outgoing, funny, and sweet – they made our job easy. We met up on a beautiful sunny evening downtown for their engagement session. They just got married a couple of weeks ago at Butterfly Gap, and I can’t wait to share some images from their wedding as well!

We’re super picky about the weather during any kind of portrait session. At weddings, we have no control over the time of day we’re shooting, or the weather conditions that day. Portrait sessions give us total control over ideal shooting conditions, which means I want to shoot just before sunset, and I want it to be SUNNY! No clouds allowed if I can help it!

This character showed up for a quick pose, and he was so stealthy that Suzanne and Joel didn’t even know he was there! They asked me later if I had photoshopped him into the image. So funny!

More fun in the gauzy evening sunlight. I love the warmth!

nancy hellsten - These are so fun! Even with all the aches, pains, and lack of sleep, I wouldn't trade my current "new mom" status for anything, but you really are making me miss working.

Allison Howell - Erin & Matt, Travis Austin turned me on to your blog. Just wanted to let you know that I love your work. Hope that your wedding season in Tennessee has been fabulous. Can't wait to see more pics! ~Allison

Celia Mackintosh - Erin, I thought you were amazing when you did our pictures, but these engagement photos are absolutely stunning! You have an unbelievable eye for light, contrast, and color. Your images are truly something to cherish.
