Did you know that our studio is available for rent to all you photographers out there? If you need a reliable and comfortable indoor space for shoots during inclement weather or during the cold months, our studio might be what you are looking for.
We are conveniently located in the Ziegler building on Market Square in downtown Knoxville, which is ideal for both studio and outdoor downtown sessions on Gay Street, Market Square, and Krutch Park. We are just a short walk away from Old City and the train tracks as well!
Here are a few photos of the space, with some description on what we’d be able to offer you:
The shooting area with original hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. Several non-seamless drape cloth backdrop choices are available, as well 5 choices for 9ft seamless paper rolls. Several blanket/linen choices available for the bed (which can be used for boudoir or as a surface for babies and children) The bed is an air mattress, so it’s easily tossed to the side if you don’t need it! Fill level of the mattress can be adjusted for a firm or flexible surface.
The shooting area gets fantastic indirect natural light. Want to subtract light instead? Each window is covered in cellular blinds that completely block out the sun for darkness or for privacy.
Our meeting area is available for proofing and/or client meetings. There’s a 58″ Plasma screen with both VGA and HDMI inputs. Our studio is also equipped with Wi-fi. Any of the furnishings can be moved into the shooting area for use as props.

- Private access to studio for the duration of your rental period

- Posing bean bag for newborns, space heater, and low backdrop stand
- Selection of linens and blankets for mattress & bean bag
- 3 bead curtains & 2 mosquito nettings
- 1 standard black stool
- Use of any furnishings in the studio (black pod chair and loveseat, 2 red pod chairs, 1 white barcelona couch, 1 damask chair, air mattress, bean bag)
- Use of meeting area with Wi-fi, 58″ plasma screen, and mini-fridge/refreshment nook
- Use of dressing room, vanity, and bathroom

- Wired sync cord (we can also provide appropriate cord for Pocket Wizards if you’d like to bring your own triggers for wireless use)

The studio is available 7 days a week in both half-day (4 hour) or full-day (8 hour) blocks.
