Jennifer & Grant’s wedding weekend began on Thursday evening, with their rehearsal dinner at Club LeConte. We joined them for a fabulous meal and lots of conversation and sharing of home videos. It was a great time!
The next day started bright and early downtown where the girls were gettin’ ready.
When we headed downstairs to go out into World’s Fair Park, we almost ran right into Grant! The girls made a barricade and all was well.
Jennifer did such an amazing job planning her wedding.. every single detail was thought out. The guys wore colorful socks that matched their ties, as well as the sashes on the dress of the bridesmaid they were escorting down the aisle!
While Matt was shooting across the fountain, he somehow lost his sunglasses in the water! He finally got them back (and he’ll kill me for posting this). At least it wasn’t the cameras that went for a swim, eh?
Jennifer & Grant chose to see each other before their ceremony, and in this case it was a good thing they did – since the afternoon was ravaged by thunderstorms!
Showtime!
After the ceremony, it was time to head over to L&N Station for the reception. The storms during the reception were tapering off, but there was still some heavy lightning strikes here and there. We were just praying a misguided bolt wouldn’t find its way to the metal light stands we were carrying!
This guy was so funny. Crutches be darned, he missed hardly a dance all night!
