Jennifer and John | Knoxville Wedding Photography | Krutch Park, Calhoun’s

I felt like I was hanging out with friends rather than doing my job while shooting Jenn & John’s wedding. When I showed up at her hotel that morning, Jenn was painting her nails while watching TV. She was completely calm and stress-free, and that didn’t change throughout the entire day. Since they chose not to have a wedding party, we were able to let the day unfold and shoot our favorite kinds of images, without the worry of schedules and group photo sessions (other than family) or anything else that can cause stress or timing hiccups.

Jennifer’s grandmother is such a lovely woman.

Jennifer’s best friend joined us at the hotel, and I could quickly see why these two are such close friends – she is awesome!

At some point, a card from John was delivered to the room and definitely got some laughs.

Matt spent the morning at the house with John. Their dog, Daisy, gave his daddy an encouraging high-five before starting the day. Doggies are the best!

In my next life, I want to be a dog.

Jenn & John chose to see each other before the ceremony so they could have some private time together in the park and shoot a few pictures.

This sweet little girl could not understand why she needed to be still and quiet during the ceremony, and she was not happy about it!

Then it was off to Calhoun’s on the River for the reception!

I love when children are enamored by babies.

You can’t beat the scenery outside of Calhoun’s after the sun sets!

Emotional toasts.

When it was time for us to leave, we headed toward the stairwell and I spotted all the light being thrown around by this cool light fixture. I immediately turned around and went to grab Jenn & John for a last few shots!
